Wayside Thoughts

The book measures 6 3/8" x 4 1/2" and has 47 pages. The text body is set in Monotype 78J and printed in two colors on machine made paper. The red book shown in the bottom left corner is the variant with the name Carlock. Daisy Hubbard was widowed in 1893 and remarried in 1899. Note the different bindings which run from cloth to limp textured leather and veined calf.
