The book measures 11" x 8 1/2" and has 68 pages. The body of the text is Old Style Antiqua and 480 copies were printed on Whatman paper. The book was bound in paper over boards with a cloth spine. As can be seen on the colophon, W. W. Denslow's orb and seahorse design was used. The book was completed May 13th, 1898 and the initials were designed by W. W. Denslow.
