Self Reliance
by Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1905
#4 of 100
This book measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" and
has 46 pages. The text body is set in Bruce Roman and 100 copies were printed on
Japan Vellum and bound 3/4 Levant and or full Levant. The regular edition was
bound in suede and printed on Roycroft handmade watermarked paper. This book is
especially interesting because of it's tie-in with Raymond Riordon who ran
The Roycroft School of Life For Boys.
It was presented to Paul Werner of the Raymond Riordon School Orchestra in 1921.
The last picture as an interesting tie in is a Diploma presented to Morris L.
Tiffany from the Raymond Riordan School.
