This book measures 8" x 6" and has 150 pages. The text body is Scotch Roman printed on Roycroft hand made watermarked paper in one color.  The regular editions were bound in suede and suede variants, ninety copies were bound in 3/4 leather with Japan vellum pages and 102 copies were bound 3/4 Levant, hand illuminated and printed on Japan vellum. 10 copies were bound in hand tooled full leather. McKenna notes that no illuminated copies have been found.

Harry Avery was among the first of Kinder's students, I've found very little information about his life. His particular forte as a binder was the use of inlays. Unlike Dick Wolfe in his book on Kinder and Dave Ogle in his forthcoming book on the Roycroft, On a High Shelf, I feel strongly that Avery's bindings are among the very best and most sophisticated produced at the Roycroft Shop. Notice the use of inlays in this binding.
