The "Little Journeys" series have been printed in a multitude of styles, bindings and states of illumination. The measurements of these books are 8 1/2" x  6 3/8". This is a fourteen book set and is the earliest example of the leatherette bindings on The Little Journeys. Note the position of the tree, in later versions the tree is located on the left hand side vice the center. The set above was published by Wm. Wise. This set is a reprint of the 1916 Memorial edition.
