The Holly Tree
by Charles Dickens, 1903
This book measures 8 1/2" x 5 5/8" and
has 66 pages. The regular edition was printed on Boxmoor paper and bound in
suede. Additionally there was an edition bound in 3/4 tooled leather and printed
on Japan Vellum. Interestingly, McKenna's Bibliography of the Roycroft Press,
notes only that a few were bound such and none had been examined. The press work
was done by George Parker, with typography by Newell White and border design
seen above on title page and elsewhere in the book designed by Samuel Warner.
