Alice and Elbert Last Picture Together

This photograph was taken by Henry Lee in May of 1915 at the New York City pier just prior to the Hubbards boarding the Lusitania for their ill fated voyage to Europe. The Lusitania was torpedoed and sunk by a German submarine. Although there are pictures of Elbert Hubbard on deck and some rare film footage, this is the last photograph of them together.
