Day by Day
by Patrice Oliver
Here is another fairly uncommon title.
This book was bound in suede and printed in 1918. It is not listed in McKenna. The book consists of excerpts from the diary of a 13 year old girl who had moved from Ireland to California. It contains poems, music, and so on. One is about the Yucca plant blooming in spring; another about how Ireland, but not California, has fairies; another, is about the call of the cuckoo. It was inscribed by Patrice on the fep to Aunty Maggie. The music was composed by Maer Macnee Oliver.
