This book measures 11 1/4" x 9" and has
120 pages. The text body is set in McFarland and 100 copies were printed on
Imperial Japan Vellum and bound 3/4 leather. The regular edition was printed on
Boxmoor paper and bound paper over boards with a suede spine and corners and 3/4
leather. The variant above has what appears to be a Japan Vellum spine and is
not listed in McKenna's Bibliography of the Roycroft Printing Shoppe. This book
was also bound in modeled leather. Richard Kruger designed the ornamentation,
the composition was by Charles Rosen, and the press work was done by Otto Franz.
