The book measures 6 7/8" x 4 1/2" and has 143 pages. The text body is set in Cushing and it was printed on laid paper. These books were bound in paper over boards with a suede spine as seen above or full suede. There is also an unlimited variant not listed in McKenna that was bound in 3/4 leather with marbled paper over boards. The picture of Captain Jack Crawford on the frontispiece was printed on Japan Vellum.
