The book measures 7 5/8" x 5 3/4"
and has 116 pages. The body of the text is set in Old Style Antiqua. The regular
edition was bound in suede and printed in two colors on Boxmoor paper. The
edition above was bound in paper over boards with a suede spine and was also
printed in two colors on Boxmoor paper. This is a variant not listed in McKenna.
The books introduction is by Theopile Gautier. The limited edition of 100
was printed on Japan Vellum and bound in 3/4 leather. Some of the limited
edition were bound 3/4 in German marbled calf.
The book in a limited edition 3/4 Levant binding printed on Japan vellum was
listed in the 1903 catalog and sold for $10.00
