Woman's Work
Being an Inquiry and an Assumption
by Alice Hubbard, 1908
Like Denslow, Dard Hunter
epitomized the Hubbard work ethic. His truly prodigious output and instantly
recognizable style has been thoroughly researched and documented. Included here
are some lesser-known examples of the incorporation of his designs into other
productions of the Roycroft Print Shop.
Frederick Kranz execution of this modeled leather binding,
in my opinion, perfectly reflects the wheat motif Dard Hunter designed for the
this book.
