ARTS AND CRAFTS CONFERENCE AT GPI

It looks like a go again for this year at GPI. Bruce Johnson had given the thumbs up and the topic this year will be:
Roycroft Books Artists and Artisans. We are shooting for the afternoon of Friday 18th from 02:00 until 4:00. What we are looking at is discussing and showing examples of fine bindings by Louis Kinder, Frederick Kranz, Harry Avery, Lorenz Schwartz, John Grabau, Sterling Lord etc and artistry by Clara Schlegel, Annie McMillan, Alta Fattey, Minnie Gardner, Mae Gordon, Dard Hunter, Lawrence Mazzonovich and others and discussing how to tell who is who, which is which, style contrasts etc, etc. Everyone is encouraged to bring something to share. More info will follow shortly. There may be some surprises in store for the 2006 conference. Discussions underway.
