By Their Works
by H. Phelps Clawson
This book measures 10 1/2" X 7 1/4" and
has 236 pages. H. Phelps Clawson was the Curator of Anthropology at the Buffalo
Museum of Science. It do not believe that this book was printed at the Roycroft
but it was bound there and is a very nice professional production. By Their Works is a
historical accounting of man and his art through out the ages, it describes the
history and culture of the various peoples represented in the archaeological and
ethnological collections in the Buffalo Museum of Science, including Indians,
Africans, South Sea Islanders and others.
